Job Description
Summary:
The Human Resources Administrative Assistant / Human Resources Coordinator (based upon experience) is responsible for supporting a variety of responsibilities within the Human Resources department including, but not limited to:
reporting, filing, assisting with the recruiting process, employee relations, benefit administration, training and compliance tracking.

Provide timely customer service to Equinox Golf Resort and Spa employeesAsist with day to day operations of the Human Resource Department functions and dutiesAssist with recruitment and onboarding process via daily tracking and checking within HRMSAssist recruiting efforts and onboarding eventsAssist with diversity outreach and leading proactive recruiting and placement strategies Create and distribute communication documentsUpdate postings and communication venues throughout the ResortAssist in planning and rolling out employee initiatives, meetings, group discussions, events and celebrationsProcess, in a timely manner, reports, invoices, bills and associated mail.
Assist with departmental development initiativesSupport Human Resources activities, including onboarding, work experience programs, training materials, and employee pulse surveysKeep current with employment law, human resources policies and training requirements as related to Federal and State lawsQualificationsA passion and enthusiasm for helping others, being part of a collaborative team and Being a Difference to all that this role interacts with requiredExcellent listening and communication skills requiredDemonstrated ability to work with confidential and sensitive information requiredDemonstrated attention to detail, while multi-tasking and delivering work on time requiredThe ability to read and follow directions requiredAbility to build trusting working relationships highly desiredAbility to work productively and proactively despite multiple interruptions strongly desiredBasic mathematical skills and considerable skill in the use of a calculator to prepare moderately complex mathematical calculations without error requiredProficient with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft programs requiredBachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management and/or Human Resources Management strongly desired and/or relevant work experiencePrevious experience in a Human Resources role strongly desired.
The hotel functions seven (7) days a week and twenty-four (24) hours per day.
This position may be asked to flex 1 weekend day depending on business needs.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
